Online Conveyancing Service Launched for Solicitors

Solicitor firms are turning to the web to provide conveyancing services to clients as the recent dramatic changes to the property market take hold.

Your Conveyancer, Scotland’s largest firm of conveyancers, has launched Solicitors Conveyancing Services to move a paper and people heavy process towards a simple online transaction.

‘Your Conveyancer’, which handles conveyancing work for clients such as Nationwide, Abbey and HBOS, has invested in the web to assist residential property solicitors. Many are now experiencing a sharp drop in the volume of conveyancing business and need to trim costs.

The news is further evidence of Your Conveyancer taking a pioneering approach to legal services by adopting the latest custom-made technology to deliver its services. This has paid dividends; the company recently reported a 24% increase in new instructions for residential sales, purchases and remortgages for the first quarter of 2008 compared to the same period last year. The company also reported a 6.8% increase in turnover for the first quarter of 2008 and an 11% increase in profit.
